Paul found his way into web development when he worked at a small company in Denver doing accounts payable. He noticed that the company’s website was done very badly and mentioned it to the owner. Without hesitation, the owner replied, “You should build a new one.” Paul did, and he’s been building ever since.
A full-time developer since 2013, Paul has worked in all sorts of different environments, from being the sole developer at a company to being one of three hundred developers. And he counts himself fortunate to have written frontend code for some of the most well-known brands in the world.
Because Sparkbox is headquartered near his hometown (Springfield, Ohio), Paul has known about Sparkbox for years. And he’s been interested in joining the team because of how he’s seen the company grow smartly—something he values in the tech industry. He also enjoys the size of Sparkbox since it enables relatively small teams to take on large projects.
Paul resides in Denver with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he likes to spend time with them, hack away on a side project, or see a punk rock show.
Paul brings his valuable experience, a relentless appetite for learning, and an inability to give up to the Sparkbox team, and we’re excited he’s part of the crew.
Please join us in welcoming Paul to the Sparkbox team. Check out some of his work on Github.
