Patrick and Sparkbox first met at a Build Responsively workshop in Pittsburgh years ago. With a mutual pursuit of continuing education and commitment to quality code, he and Sparkbox were bound to cross paths.
One of the things we love most about Patrick is his drive to produce quality work, always seeking opportunities to hone his craft. One of the best examples of this is manifested in his involvement in the web community in Pittsburgh, where he lives with his wife and a rescue dog named Walter. Patrick co-leads the Refresh Pittsburgh meetup and is a huge encourager of getting folks involved.
We’re so happy to welcome Patrick as our newest developer. He brings more than a decade of development experience and an investigative nature, which are fitting since he started his career as a designer/developer at a newspaper. Patrick’s reasoning with the web and consideration of code help us to remain thoughtful when approaching the quality of our work.
Patrick keeps his life full with code and conversation, but when he’s not collaborating with folks at Sparkbox or organizing local meetups, he likes to hang out with his family and friends—and hit the pavement. He’s a marathon runner. We’re glad his next long run is here with us.
Help us welcome Patrick by dropping him a tweet.
